Educational assessments measure how a child is performing in a range of academic skill areas and how this compares with their peers and grade expectations. These areas include, basic reading, reading comprehension, oral language skills, written skills and mathematics.
What does it assess?
A Educational assessments assesses the level of skill, giftedness, strengths and weaknesses, academic performance, language processing issues, learning difficulties.

What is the process?
At Logic Lounge Psychology, the process we follow for Educational Assessments is as follows:
- The assessor will conduct an initial interview.
- Assessment Forms
- Face to face assessment
- Report
- Feedback Session
For all Educational Assessments, it is $550 (incl GST) including report for one test, $1100 for both tests.
How do I get a Mental Health Care Plan?
Visit your GP and ask them for a referral to our clinic. Describe the issues and they’ll give you a referral to see us.
What happens if I don't want to see my GP?
If you don’t want to see a GP, you can visit us without a Medicare Care Plan. You can discuss fees when you call us.
How many sessions do I get by obtaining a Medicare Care Plan?
Medicare provides you with 6 sessions initially. In the event you need additional sessions, visit your GP and they can refer you back to us for more sessions.
